The Ebenezer SDA Church Lower Sabbath School Division has recently organized and participated in a Soup & Bread Community Outreach event. The event took place on February 26, 2023, at Watlers Community Park. It was a great way to give back to the community and to teach children about the importance of serving others.

This activity was not just about providing food; it was also an opportunity to teach children about their responsibility to the community. By participating in this event, children were able to follow the example of Jesus, who came not to be served, but to serve and to give.

By engaging in community outreach events like this, children learn to see the world beyond themselves and to develop empathy for others. It also helps to instill a sense of responsibility and civic duty in them. These are values that will serve them well throughout their lives. Furthermore, community outreach events like the Soup & Bread Community Outreach also help to build bridges between different members of the community. They provide an opportunity for people from diverse backgrounds to come together and share a meal. This creates a sense of unity and can help to break down barriers and stereotypes.

The Ebenezer SDA Church Lower Sabbath School Division should be commended for their efforts in organizing and participating in the Soup & Bread Community Outreach event. This event not only provided much-needed food to members of the community, but it also taught children the importance of serving others and helped to build bridges between diverse members of the community. We should all strive to follow the example of Jesus and to serve and give back to our communities.
