Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Illinois, requiring proficiency in moderate sedation and an active IL RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in an Interventional Radiology department within a hospital setting
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 6:30pm
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• On-call duties are required as needed
• Primary work includes interventional imaging procedures
• Responsible for patient assessment and development of individual care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Explains and provides instructions to patients and responsible persons
• Must use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Expected to contribute to a healthy work environment through professional communication
• Maintains complete and accurate medical records

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active Illinois RN license is required
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required
• Proficiency in administering moderate sedation is required
