Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and performing reconciliations. This role will play a critical part in our financial operations, providing insights and support to enhance our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Generate reports on financial performance for management review
• Assist in compliance with required regulations
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable activities
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting activities
• Analyze financial data and variances to support decision-making
• Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate risks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and reconciliation processes
• Experience with financial reporting and compliance
• Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Experience in the healthcare or hospitality industry is a plus
• CPA certification is highly preferred
