Full-Time Career Nanny – NYC- Sutton Place

A warm, professional family in Sutton Place is seeking a full-time career nanny to care for their two young boys, ages 2 years and 14 months. The ideal candidate is nurturing, highly organized, and able to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits:
$28–$35/hour, 2 weeks PTO, paid bank holidays, health stipend, and applicable overtime pay.

Typical Day

8:30 AM: Arrive and begin the day with interactive activities such as reading, music, drawing, painting, or outdoor play.

Morning: Take the children to the park or on nearby outings, encouraging active play and socialization. Accompany the 2-year-old to his half-day pre-K program and handle drop-off or pick-up as needed.

Midday: Prepare and serve lunch, oversee nap routines, and provide quiet play or learning activities.

Afternoon: Continue with age-appropriate educational activities and interactive play, fostering curiosity, creativity, and early learning.

Late Afternoon / Early Evening: Prepare a simple, healthy family dinner, complete the children’s laundry (including folding and ironing), tidy the kitchen, and keep main living spaces organized.

6:00 PM: End the day with a smooth handoff and update for the parents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and engage the children in age-appropriate, educational play.
• Maintain tidiness of children’s rooms and primary play areas.
• Manage children’s laundry and organization of clothing and toys.
• Keep drawers, closets, and play spaces organized.
• Handle school drop-off and pick-up, as needed.
• Empty diaper pails and maintain cleanliness in child-related areas.
• Prepare simple, healthy meals for the children.
• Run occasional errands as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous full-time nanny experience with toddlers and preschool-aged children.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
