About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Communications & PR Manager for APAC to oversee and manage all communications and public relations efforts across the region. This role is critical to enhancing the visibility and reputation of Aptos Labs in APAC, ensuring that our messaging is consistent, impactful, and aligned with our global objectives. You will be responsible for managing media relations, crisis communications, and social media channels while ensuring that our brand is well-represented in the market.

You will be directly responsible for:

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive communication strategy tailored for the APAC region to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Managing all media relations, including the development and distribution of press releases, media pitches, and handling media inquiries.
• Overseeing crisis communications to mitigate risks and protect the brands reputation.
• Managing and growing Aptos Labs social media presence across APAC, ensuring consistent and engaging content.
• Collaborating closely with the Brand and Events Manager to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms and events.
• Leading the creation of external communication content, including speeches, blogs, and newsletters.
• Monitoring media coverage and providing regular reports to the global team on communication efforts and media sentiment.

What you'll work on:

• Collaborate with Aptos leadership and key stakeholders to craft and execute a robust communication strategy that aligns with the companys goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers in the APAC region to maximize coverage opportunities.
• Develop and implement crisis communication protocols, ensuring the company is prepared to respond effectively to potential PR issues.
• Partner with the Brand and Events Manager to create and manage content for events, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
• Provide strategic insights and feedback to Aptos leadership to shape communication strategies and enhance the companys public image.
• Support cross-functional teams with communication needs, including crafting messaging for product launches, announcements, and internal communications.
• Ensure all communication efforts are aligned with global standards and tailored to the unique cultural and market dynamics of the APAC region.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field, preferably within the Web3 or technology sectors.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies that enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Strong media relations skills with a network of contacts in the APAC region.
• Experience in crisis communication management, with the ability to respond swiftly and effectively to potential PR issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English; knowledge of Mandarin or another APAC language is a must.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel within the APAC region as needed to manage communication efforts.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $854,063.79 - $1,130,261.23 HKD. We do hire exceptionally talented professionals with decades of experience in their field. As such, our range may be higher than what is displayed. Our base salary ranges are determined by experience and location, and we hire at all levels for multiple roles. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills demonstrated during the interviews, working experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include equity, tokens, or benefits.
