On February 22, the Ebenezer SDA Church Health & Wellness Ministries Department hosted a Mini Health Fair at the John Gray Walking Track. The event provided a range of health and wellness services to the public from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The event aimed to promote healthy living and wellness to the local community, by offering a variety of services and activities. Health checks were available to provide participants with an assessment of their current health status. Additionally, neck and foot massages were offered to help relieve stress and promote relaxation.
The fair also included a detox smoothie demonstration, which showcased the benefits of incorporating healthy, nutrient-rich foods into one’s diet. Plant-based smoothie demonstrations were also provided to demonstrate how to create delicious and healthy smoothies using plant-based ingredients.
Mental health talks were offered to educate attendees about the importance of mental health and how to maintain good mental well-being. It is vital to acknowledge and manage our mental health alongside our physical health.
Exercise routines were demonstrated, emphasizing the importance of regular physical activity to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for individuals to learn and incorporate new exercises in their daily routines.
In conclusion, the Ebenezer SDA Church Health & Wellness Ministries Department has done an excellent job in organizing a Mini Health Fair that provided a range of activities and services to promote health and wellness. Events like these not only benefit the individual but also the community. By taking care of our health, we can improve our quality of life, feel better, and live longer. We should strive to incorporate healthy habits into our daily routines, including healthy eating, regular exercise, and stress reduction techniques, to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
