About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Advancement to join their Executive Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in nonprofit fundraising and donor relationship management. This role is pivotal in driving organizational growth through comprehensive fundraising, relationship management, and the development of core mission-driven initiatives. The VP of Advancement will serve as a key ambassador, providing strategic direction for expanding organizational capacity in interfaith relations and community engagement. Responsibilities include managing a diversified portfolio of donors, leading prospect identification and cultivation strategies, and developing and executing comprehensive fundraising campaigns. The role also involves government and community relations, program oversight, and integration of volunteer engagement. Candidates for the VP of Advancement position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred) and at least 5-7 years of related experience in a nonprofit setting. Experience in public speaking, government relations, and community partnership development is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of interfaith dynamics, excellent communication and ambassadorial skills, and a genuine commitment to the mission of the organization. Strategic thinking, operational execution capabilities, and the ability to manage and develop program staff are also required.
