Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room RN to provide safe, effective, and patient-family-centered care in perioperative settings. This role requires the ability to scrub, circulate, and assist in the recovery room (PACU) as needed, while maintaining clear communication with the perioperative team. The RN will uphold confidentiality and support the organization’s mission, vision, and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform perioperative duties including scrubbing, circulating, and PACU care.
• Assist with general and orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EMR (CPSI/Evident).
• Adhere to patient safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the state.
• Minimum 1 year perioperative experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS and PALS for PACU (may obtain within required timeframe).
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

Additional Information:

• Day shift schedule.
• 13-week contract.
• Holiday coverage required.
