• Location: Reno, NV 89502 (Northern Nevada healthcare jobs)\n
• Unit: Oncology/Cancer Nursing Unit (27 beds)\n
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/2/2025 – End: 1/31/2026)\n
• Shift Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts (18:45 – 07:15)\n
• Weekly Hours: 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680 - $1800\n
• Holiday Coverage: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Eve + Day = 1 holiday)\n
• Extra Shift: Required to pick up one additional shift per schedule period\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Nevada RN license (required for Nevada nursing jobs)\n
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)\n
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification\n
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting\n
• 2 years of oncology nursing experience strongly preferred\n
• Ability to float to other clinical units within competency\n

\n\nOncology RN Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive patient care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric oncology patients\n
• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy regimens (HD Methotrexate, Rituximab, R-EPOCH, R-CHOP)\n
• Monitor and manage patients receiving cancer treatments or experiencing disease-related complications\n
• Utilize remote telemetry monitoring for patient safety\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and involve families/caregivers in care planning\n
• Maintain high standards of clinical quality and patient safety in a fast-paced environment\n
• Adapt to variable schedules including weekends, holidays, and occasional call shifts\n
