Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a Level II trauma setting, requiring experience with GE Signa Artist Evo 1.5T and ARDL software.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital-based magnetic resonance imaging unit
• Level II trauma environment
• Utilizes GE Signa Artist Evo 1.5T scanner with ARDL software, Bayer MRI power injector, and Phillips Invivo MR 400 monitor
• Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• Black scrub top and bottom required as dress code
• Responsible for preparing and positioning patients, selecting technical parameters, and producing cross-sectional imaging
• Will perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, data entry, and image transfer to magnetic media
• Adheres to radiation safety protocols and high image quality standards for PACS submission
• Equipment maintenance and reporting of potential malfunctions is expected
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment required
• Standard precautions and use of personal protective equipment must be followed
• Local candidates are accepted, but a radius rule applies and local rates may differ

\n \n Requirements\n

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start; license required if applicable
• Ability to operate advanced MRI equipment including GE Signa Artist Evo and ARDL software
• Must have a US Social Security Number and US home address
