Primary Responsibilities Assist in establishing and maintaining appropriate carrier relationships. Perform marketing activities for large accounts as assigned. Prepare risk maps or review peer risk maps for assigned accounts. Coordinate service delivery, including developing initial placement/renewal strategy. Complete special projects. Identify opportunities to improve the firm, business segment and processes; bring issues and discrepancies to leadership. Serve as a mentor to new colleagues when requested. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong technical knowledge of general insurance market conditions and specific underwriting appetites. Ability to analyze complex risk exposures, existing coverages and develop appropriate recommendations. Excellent client service and problem‑solving skills. Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; ability to learn additional firm software. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred; professional insurance designation desired or in progress. At least five years of experience with demonstrated proficiency in Account Management. Maintain all required State Department of Insurance licenses, or be willing to obtain them within the first 90 days. Effective presentation skills in verbal and written communication. Aligns with the organization’s core values and corporate culture. Other Fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment. Some travel may be required.
