Job Description

As a Security Officer - Facility Access Driver in Dayton, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at this food and beverage location, you will focus on access control, monitoring entrances and exits, and conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will be visible throughout the site, provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and/or identification of all personnel, visitors, and contractors entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, or potential hazards to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate for the location, including following evacuation procedures and supporting first responders.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related occurrences as required by Allied Universal and client policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
