Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Special Education Teacher position is open to support one elementary student in an Aurora, IL elementary school. This role requires fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) to effectively communicate and provide specialized instruction tailored to the students needs.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective, individualized instruction to an elementary student with special education needs
  • Utilize ASL to support communication and engagement
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement appropriate learning plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
