Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available at a K-12 school in Glen Allen, VA. This contract role runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026, serving various caseloads and age groups within the school district. The position requires on-site presence and active Virginia SLPA licensure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language support services to students K-12 across multiple schools
• Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Collaborate with educators and family members to support student communication goals
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with district guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia SLPA licensure required
• Experience with school-age children preferred; 0-10+ years welcomed
• Strong knowledge of speech-language intervention techniques appropriate for school settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage varied caseloads across multiple sites
