The React Native Developer will be an integral part of the Digital Technology Team, responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of digital products. The role focuses on improving the digital experience by building mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms. This developer will have hands-on involvement in programming, design sessions, code reviews, system testing, and the documentation of app-related processes. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement new features and ongoing enhancements for mobile applications, enhancing the digital customer experience on both iOS and Android platforms using React Native. User Interface (UI) Development: Develop highly responsive and performant UI components using React Native, ensuring the app is optimized for both platforms. Collaboration and Communication: Engage in pair programming and actively participate in design sessions, providing insights and assisting with system integrations, performance testing, and product releases. Code Quality: Write highly reusable, scalable UI components and modules, leveraging native APIs for deep integration with both mobile platforms. Tools & Frameworks: Utilize React Native Debugger, Xcode, Android Studio, iOS & Android Simulators, Jest, and ESLint in the development process. Required Qualifications: Experience: 3+ years of experience working with React Native and React JS, including experience with tools such as Flux, Flow, or Redux. API & Third-Party Libraries: Proven experience working with REST APIs, document request models, offline storage, and third-party libraries. UI Design and Development: Strong experience in UI design and creating responsive designs to ensure compatibility across multiple devices. Development Tools: Familiarity with React Native Debugger, Xcode, Android Studio, and mobile simulators for iOS and Android platforms. Preferred Qualifications (if any): Basic knowledge of the AWS Cloud ecosystem, with familiarity in services like Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and S3.
