Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our team, focusing on the development and support of RESTful FHIR APIs for both internal and external use.

This role involves close collaboration with clinical, technical, and product teams to ensure seamless data interoperability between internal systems and third-party healthcare platforms.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in transforming clinical and operational workflows into robust technical integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain HL7 v2 and FHIR-based integration pipelines.
  • Implement and support RESTful FHIR APIs for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Enable bi?directional data exchange with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic and Cerner.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and monitor integration solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and security protocols, including HIPAA.
  • Parse and generate data formats such as JSON, XML, and HL7 v2 messages.
  • Utilize database technologies such as PostgreSQL and Oracle for data management and validation.


Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of software development experience, with a strong focus on Python.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR and HL7 v2.
  • Proficiency in Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Strong experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Proficient in working with data formats like JSON and XML.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with healthcare vocabularies such as SNOMED CT, LOINC, and ICD-10.
  • Hands?on experience with integration tools such as Rhapsody.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem?solving abilities.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in healthcare IT environments.
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows and operational data integration.
