Production Supervisor

Title : Production Supervisor - Nights

Location : Columbus, OH (South)

Base Pay : $33 - $40 / Hour + 100 Annual Hours of OT (Total Comp $85,000 - $90,000)

Working Hours : 7pm-7am (Sunday-Tuesday + every other Wednesday OR Thursday-Saturday + every other Wednesday)

Position Overview
The Production Supervisor oversees the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role involves managing production staff, coordinating production schedules, and implementing best practices in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct training and development for production staff to enhance skills and performance.
• Monitor production processes and make recommendations for improvements.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline operations and reduce waste.
• Manage inventory control and assist in MRP planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a production/manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of production processes and manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with chemicals and industrial manufacturing practices is preferred.
• Experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing methodologies is desirable.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial settings.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
