Job Title: Production SupervisorJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure the team meets its goals and metrics. This role involves supervising production activities, assisting with operating machinery, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will help maintain production efficiency and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations and ensure employees meet their daily goals and metrics.
• Assist with production duties, including operating machinery, push button operation, and ensuring proper product levels in machines.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure employees' safety.
• Accountable for keeping scrap rates below established levels and ensuring customers do not receive non-conforming products.
• Maximize efficiency of employees and plant by meeting established production goals.
• Plan shift schedules and ensure product demand is met.
• Study schedules, interpret specifications, and assign duties accordingly.
• Maintain a positive team atmosphere and work with the team to accomplish production quotas.
• Lift up to 35lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50lbs.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, packaging, and operating automated packaging equipment.
• General labor and assembly skills.
• Machine operation, inspection, and hand tool proficiency.
• Experience with machine operating, tape measure, and power tools.
• Loading and forklift operation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Consistent work history.
• Leadership experience of at least 1 year.
• Experience as a lead or supervisor in a similar industry.

Work Environment

The work environment is a production/packaging setting equipped with a variety of automated packaging equipment. Though the facility is slightly older, it is air-conditioned and provides a welcoming and inclusive culture.

This is a Permanent position based out of Le Sueur, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
