Your Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic organization. As a Personal Training Manager in Training, you will report to the Personal Training Department Manager(s) and embark on a leadership development journey. You’ll learn the ins and outs of managing a personal training team while participating in a comprehensive educational program designed to prepare you for future leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and track team business targets, providing feedback and support to ensure progress.
• Build a loyal client base through fitness evaluations, orientations, and personal training sessions.
• Generate sales leads and support trainer development to foster business growth.
• Fast track through Equinox’s EFTI (Equinox Fitness Training Institute) training program.
• Complete the Manager in Training (MIT) program.
• Deliver personalized attention to all members.
• Stay informed about club services, programs, and products.
• Maintain and update the Personal Training App.
• Instruct members on proper equipment use and exercise techniques.
• Provide exceptional customer service to every member and potential member.
• Ensure regular attendance and participate in Personal Training meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification or a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in a related field (preferred).
• Multiple continuing education certifications (preferred).
• CPR/AED certification (required).
• 1-3 years of Personal Training experience (preferred).
• Full-time availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Proven ability to build a business and attract new clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Integrity, passion, ambition, and knowledge of the fitness industry.
• Strong time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly.

Compensation

Pay Transparency: $28.00/hr
