We are on the lookout for experienced, energetic, creative, and enthusiastic candidates to step into the role of Personal Training - Manager in Training . Reporting to the Personal Training Department Manager(s), this non-exempt hourly position is perfect for those eager to make a significant impact in a dynamic and growing organization.

In this leadership development role, you will learn the ins and outs of being a Personal Training Manager and/or Personal Training Programming and Development Manager. Our educational program is designed to prepare you for a successful transition into these pivotal positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Team Success: Set targets, provide feedback, and support your team in achieving business deliverables.
• Build Client Relationships: Conduct fitness evaluations, orientations, and personal training sessions to establish a loyal client base.
• Generate Sales Leads: Engage in lead generation activities and support trainer development to foster business growth.
• Fast Track Your Career: Complete Equinox’s EFTI training program and the Manager in Training (MIT) program.
• Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide personalized attention to members and maintain knowledge of all club services and programs.
• Educate and Inspire: Instruct members on proper equipment use and exercise techniques.
• Stay Engaged: Attend Personal Training meetings and maintain regular attendance.
• Adapt and Assist: Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth department operations.

Qualifications We’re Looking For

• Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification or a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in a related field (preferred).
• Multiple continuing education certifications (preferred).
• CPR/AED certification (required).
• 1-3 years of Personal Training experience (preferred).
• Full-time availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Proven ability to build a business and attract new clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Integrity, passion, ambition, and knowledge of the fitness industry.
• Strong time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly.

Compensation

Pay Transparency: $28.00/hr
