**Job Title: Machine Operator** Job Description This position is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of process and packaging equipment from start-up to shut-down. The role involves processing and packaging food to ensure the production of safe, quality food for human consumption. Additionally, the position may involve mixing and cooking candy recipes. Responsibilities + Operate chocolate tempering machines, depositors, enrobers, and other machines involved in food processing and packaging. + Assemble pipes, pumps, and kettle parts for cooking and mixing candy recipes using common hand tools. + Follow recipes to accurately weigh ingredients, mix and cook, and measure temperature, viscosity, and brix. + Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) for various cooking and equipment operation tasks. + Run both manual and computer-controlled machines, performing setups and changeovers based on daily production needs. Essential Skills + 2+ years of packaging machine operating experience. + Proficiency in GMP, food production, machine operating, batching, mixing, and blending. + Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in food manufacturing and packaging. + Understanding of fractions and ability to follow ingredient lists accurately. Why Work Here?
