Retail/Pricing Specialist (Entry Level)
- Contract length: 6 months
- Location: Onsite in Pittsburgh
- Firm hourly rate: $22/hr
- Hours: Part-time, 24 hours/week
The Omni Channel Pricing Specialist is the go to teammate and subject matter expert for all permanent and promotional pricing. They are charged with ensuring that all efforts are executed in an accurate and timely fashion for all chains and channels. The Omni Channel Pricing Specialist is also the key contact for troubleshooting and addressing pricing issues both in store and on-line. The position works very closely with partners from merchandising, price strategy, store communications, signage, ecommerce, marketing, store operations, field operations, and Technology. This team is the frontline in investigating and resolving all pricing issues.
Analysis & Management
• Analyze exclusions styles, vendors, and disclaimers. Partner with merchants to identify opportunities to improve athlete experience.
• Analyze all submitted promotions and prices for compliance to defined pricing standards; proactively resolve any issues discovered with merchants, price strategy, eCommerce.
• Build alignment and approval with merchandising leadership on price and promotional changes
• Council and train merchant partners on best practices to ensure execution of merchant vision
• Analyze weekly conflict & validation process to proactively identify and resolve issues prior to execution
• Communicate with downstream business partners on impacts of strategic changes
• Own review and resolution of print promotions and web promotions for the Black Friday and Cyber Monday time periods including instore validations and Cyber 5 preview environment validation efforts
Troubleshooting and Issues Resolution
• Monitor and promptly respond to any reported issues
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and identify solutions to quickly resolve issues
• Quarterback issues resolution with cross-functional partners (merchants, signage, IT, marketing, ecommerce, & stores)
• Monitor issues to identify larger trends and process improvement opportunities
Process Execution & Operations
• Coordinate, build, test, and execute complex promotions in eCommerce tool sets
• Build all clearance promotions in accordance with program standards across all banners
• Execute and maintain configurations and settings in price change tools
• Build and test all outbound coupons for both stores and eCommerce
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• 1-3 yrs of experience in Retail
