Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled *NY Barred Only* Part-Time Commercial Real Estate Transactional Attorney with expertise in real estate finance to join our team on a contract basis. This part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex real estate finance transactions, representing borrowers in sophisticated legal matters. The position is based in New York, New York, and requires someone with a strong background in commercial real estate law and transactional expertise.
Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and negotiate comprehensive loan agreements and associated transactional documents.
• Provide legal advice to clients on intricate real estate finance matters, including foreclosure and non-residential property issues.
• Address and manage corporate and commercial legal matters as they arise during client engagements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to facilitate seamless execution of complex transactions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations throughout all stages of transactional processes.
• Active membership with the New York Bar is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and transactional law.
• Proven ability to independently manage and close sophisticated deals.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law and general commercial transactions.
• Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to draft precise legal documents.
• Expertise in handling loan agreements and other transactional matters.
• Background in commercial litigation is a plus.
