This is an exciting part-time opportunity to contribute local, regional, and national content in a dynamic newsroom environment. Must be able to work nights, holidays, and weekends.**What You'll Do:*** Anchor newscasts for multiple markets.* Write clear, concise news copy.* Produce, edit and write content for 24/7 Newswire.* Post news and video content to newsroom social media platforms.* Gather audio from press conferences, live events and partner TV stations.* Produce short-form reports (voicers/wraps) for anchors on the following shift.* May be called on to anchor breaking news reports as needed.* General newsroom responsibilities and duties as assigned.**What You'll Need:*** Self-motivated to find stories as a reporter and also anchor newscasts for multiple markets.* Strong social media skills including email, writing/posting for Facebook, X (Twitter) and Instagram.* Must be willing to work nights, holidays, and weekends.* Strong on-air presence and ability to present newscasts with authority.* Excellent writing and editing ability; excellent grammar.* Strong time management skills; adept at setting priorities and managing deadlines.* Knowledgeable and up to date with local, regional, and national trends.* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.* Proficient in media production (primarily audio) and broadcast systems.* 3+ years’ experience in on-air journalism in smaller market or college station.* 4-year college degree, preferably in Broadcast Journalism or Communications.**What You'll Bring:*** Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return.* Full proficiency and understanding of job function.* Open communication with colleagues and direct reports that encourages collaboration and team consensus.* Strong problem-solving skills.* Efficiency with independent work under minimal guidance.* Commitment to process improvement for overall team effectiveness.* Professional communication that stresses diplomacy, empathy and patience.**Compensation:**Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.$18.81 - $19.29**Location:**Denver, CO: 4695 S.
