About the Role
We are seeking a talented Motion Graphics Designer to join our client’s creative services team within the insurance and financial services industry. This role focuses on producing engaging video and animation content that aligns with strict brand guidelines and accessibility standards. You will collaborate with designers, marketing managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality visual assets that tell compelling stories and enhance brand presence. Job Description
As a Motion Graphics Designer, you will support video and animation production from concept to completion. Responsibilities include editing footage, adding closed captions to meet ADA compliance, integrating b-roll, talking heads, branded title/end cards, and music. You will also assist with animation workflows, including storyboarding and creating motion graphics—primarily in 2D, with bonus experience in 3D. Additional tasks include image research, retouching, and manipulation to ensure all visual elements meet brand and accessibility standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit video content, including adding closed captions, b-roll, talking heads, branded title/end cards, and music.
  • Conduct image research and perform retouching/manipulation.
  • Assist with animation production, including storyboarding and creating motion graphics (mainly 2D, bonus 3D).
  • Apply design principles such as color theory, typography, and layout to create visually compelling assets.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and marketing teams throughout project development.
  • Organize and maintain files using best practices for version control, naming conventions, and accessibility compliance.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently while following creative direction.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines and multiple revisions.
  • Passion for design and storytelling through visual media.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
  • 3–5 years of experience in motion graphics, social media, and video editing.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver creative ideas and solutions.
  • Online portfolio or demo reel showcasing innovative design work.
Preferred:
  • A.A., B.F.A., or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with 3D animation workflows.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and ADA compliance in video production.
