**Cardiac monitor technicians, or telemetry technicians, monitor multiple patient's heart activity and interpret heart rhythms from a central monitoring center covering multiple acute care locations. Job Summary and Qualifications

Role Summary: For applicable NC Division facility patients, observes telemetry monitors continuously, recognizes and documents rhythm tracings and also continuously monitors Cerner Patient Observer “CPO,” recognizes patient movement and proactively alerts nurses and other care givers in an effort to prevent adverse events including: patient falls, patient elopement, patient safety and visitor monitoring. 

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Education: High School diploma or GED, completion of dysrhythmia course. Comparable experience and skills also considered.
