Responsibilities Perform load calculations, determine system sizing and layouts, calculate equipment sizes, select equipment, complete field surveys, and review equipment shop drawings. As you gain project experience, lead mechanical project teams, write specifications, participate in project meetings with clients and other consultants, and support construction-phase work. Collaborate with mentors and, as you grow, contribute to mentoring designers. Qualifications Expertise of our most successful Mechanical Engineer I includes: BSME/BSAE from ABET-accredited school. Minimum GPA of 2.5. Non-academic internship. Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations preferred. EIT certification (passed the FE exam) a plus. Internship experience in the MEP consulting engineering field preferred. Skills Strong spoken and written communications skills. Excellent organization and time management skills. Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work both independently and in teams.
