Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician with Crayola Factory!

Job Description:

Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, troubleshooting, and overhaul of existing electromechanical equipment. This role requires performing preventative maintenance on a wide variety of production equipment including processing and packaging equipment, and planning and scheduling PM tasks to align with production.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on all production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and operational readiness.
• Quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on equipment and building systems to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to all plant safety policies, procedures, and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Assist with the installation, assembly, and setup of new or relocated production equipment according to layout plans and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of all maintenance activities, work orders, parts usage, and modifications in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and understand PLC troubleshooting and control.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and electrical troubleshooting, including 3-phase systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with motors, fuses, heaters, limit switches, electric motor clutches, and brakes.

Work Environment

Join a family-oriented company culture with over 300 full-time and temporary employees throughout the facility spread out on multiple shifts. The work environment includes lockers, a cafeteria, and a temperature-controlled facility. Work shifts include 8-hour shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 11:15 pm to 7:15 am, and 12-hour shifts from 6 pm to 6 am in a 2-2-3 schedule, ensuring no more than three straight shifts without at least two days off.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Easton, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $62400.00/yr.

Annual Bonus Potential for all full time employees
5 vacation days and PTO/144 hours of Paid Holiday Time (12 days)
$1000 sign on bonus
