LIHTC Assistant Property Manager – Akron, OH

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Property Manager to join a thriving apartment community in Akron, Ohio . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about providing excellent service to residents while supporting all aspects of property operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day operations of the community
• Handle leasing, renewals, rent collection, and resident relations
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
• Support marketing efforts and ensure strong occupancy levels
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries and concerns
• Help manage vendors, maintenance requests, and property inspections

Requirements:

• MUST have previous experience as an Assistant Property Manager or Leasing Professional
• MUST have LIHTC experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Proficient in property management software (Yardi, Entrata, AppFolio, etc.)
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Must be dependable, team-oriented, and detail-driven
