Overview Definitive Consulting is currently on the lookout for a Legal Recruiter to join our New York City team, offering a base salary of USD $65,000–$80,000. This is an opportunity for a driven and ambitious professional to advance their career within a global, partner-focused legal recruitment firm. The role offers flexibility, with access to a dedicated New York City office and regular client and candidate meetings. You will work alongside experienced consultants and senior leadership, receiving hands-on mentorship while building your own practice and developing relationships with leading US and international law firms. We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills, commercial acumen, and the motivation to succeed in a fast-paced, people-driven environment. Prior experience in recruitment, sales, or professional services is an advantage but not essential. Responsibilities Collaborate with experienced consultants and senior leadership to develop client and candidate relationships. Participate in end-to-end recruitment processes for legal roles and maintain active pipelines. Represent the firm in a professional, client-focused manner and contribute to business development activities where applicable. Qualifications Strong communication skills and commercial awareness.
