  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing process flows to enhance productivity and quality while minimizing costs.
  • Model and evaluate production touch times, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Assess equipment capacity needs and manage the scheduling of equipment moves to support product line transfers.
  • Design and implement strategic floor space planning for optimizing equipment layout and manufacturing flow.
  • Lead initiatives through robust change control processes, ensuring smooth implementation and adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including design, supply chain, and manufacturing to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO and TL9000 certifications while fostering a culture of quality and safety.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices and LEAN methodologies across the team.

Responsibilities

  • BS degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • \n
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • \n
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • \n
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • \n
\n
It would be nice if you also had:

  • SAP ERP experience
  • \n
  • AutoCAD experience
  • \n
  • Familiarity with SQL and statistical processing software
  • \n
  • Experience with LEAN manufacturing practices
  • \n
