Dodd Creative Group is currently seeking a graphic designer to join our branding team. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual skills, familiarity with a breadth of media types (especially print and web), and a knack for composing beautiful compositions. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, energetic, and flexible. This is full-time, in-office position in Dallas, TX (This is not a remote position).
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Print design (layout, revisions, and mechanical art production for brochures, flyers, etc.), digital media design (layout, revisions, and file prep for website graphics, video assets, Powerpoint presentations, etc.).
· Create branding guides, final logo files and usage standards for client work.
· Draw and edit floor plans and site maps.
· Design and edit website content via a variety of content management systems.
· Coordinate with print vendors, web developers, shipping services, etc.
· Maintain well-organized, well-built, error-free files.
· Manage one’s own workload, stay on top of multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, and keep in constant communication with manager about project status.
· Stay up-to-date on current industry trends, technologies, best practices, etc.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· 1 to 2 years of previous experience as a professional graphic designer
· Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
· Highly proficient in Adobe CC apps (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) on Mac Platform
· Proficient in Figma
· Thorough understanding of major file formats, image resolution, etc.
· Highly organized and detail-oriented
· Excellent problem solver and creative thinker
· Good at following creative direction, taking constructive criticism, and adjusting to changing circumstances
· Good verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience working with After Effects, Premier Pro, video editing and motion graphics
· Experience designing environmental graphics and wayfinding
· Familiarity with architectural blueprints and terminology
Annual Salary $45,000.00
