Overview Ellie Mental Health is an outpatient mental health counseling group that has two locations in the beautiful Charlotte suburbs of Southpark and Blakeney. Clinic Description
Ellie Mental Health is a kick@$$ mental health company that's seeing incredible growth in the Charlotte area. We are excited to continue to grow and serve our community through individual, family, couples, and group therapy services. Our Ellie "herd" prides itself on being an innovative, passionate, and creative team that works collaboratively with clients and community partners to deliver the most comprehensive treatment to all clients.
We are seeking fully licensed therapists who are competent in working with individual and couples. We are giving preference to candidates who are willing to work with First Responders and our LGBTQ+ community members. We are excited to bring on talented, passionate, and collaborative therapists to both our Southpark and Blakeney team! BIPOC and LGBTQ+ therapists encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Include: - Conduct assessments and ongoing outpatient therapy.
- Maintain appropriate clinical documentation: Develop and implement treatment plans, complete ongoing documentation, conduct treatment plan reviews, revise diagnoses as appropriate, etc.
- Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week.
- Coordinate care with case managers, families, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service for clients.
- Bring your creativity! Collaborate with your dynamic team of coworkers and other community partners to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
- Attend and participate in all staff meetings and trainings.
- Show up in our community! Networking and outreach are a cornerstone of Ellie's approach to community care, stigma reduction, and building your caseload.
- Be excellent to each other! You will play a critical role in maintaining a peaceful & joyful work environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Candidates are required to have a masters degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
- Candidates must hold full independent licensure as a LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT in the state of NC.
- Clinicians with supervisory credentials are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Out of state candidates must be in process of applying for reciprocity in NC.
- Experience working with couples and individuals
- Required experience with assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes and ability to submit documentation in a timely manner
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with LGBTQ+ clientele
- Experience with adolescents and teens
- Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation
- Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
- Current or previous credentialing with insurance panels is preferable but not required
What else you should know:
- This position is located in Charlotte, NC with an expected start date of October/November 2025
- Our clinic offers in person and telehealth options to clients
- Clinicians have an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule (2 days remote) after a probationary period.
- This position will be under the direction of the Clinical Manager
- We believe in equal and transparent pay. Our salary range is approximately $63,000-$80,000 per year and is contingent on licensure, supervisory responsibilities, and caseload,
