Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Soliant is seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacy Manager for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity in Seymour, CT . This role offers a chance to lead daily pharmacy operations while delivering exceptional patient care.
Position Details:Term: 13-week contract-to-hire
Shift: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Pharmacy Hours:
Monday Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (Rotating weekends required)
Oversee daily pharmacy operations , including staff supervision and workflow efficiency.
Ensure regulatory pliance and adherence to pharmacy policies.
Provide direct patient care through consultations, medication therapy management, and health screenings.
Manage inventory to maintain adequate stock levels of medications and supplies.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outes through medication management.
Train and mentor pharmacy staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
Address patient inquiries regarding medications, health concerns, and wellness products .
Implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and overall pharmacy performance.
Active and Clear CT Pharmacist License
PharmD degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
Proven experience in a pharmacy setting (managerial/supervisory experience preferred)
Strong patient care skills with a focus on personalized service
Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations
Experience with inventory management in a pharmacy setting
Familiarity with pain management protocols (preferred but not required)
Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate remendations
Excellent munication skills for engaging with patients and healthcare professionals
