Executive Assistant To The Chief People Officer

This role is based in Centreville, Virginia, with plans to relocate to Reston, Virginia, in 2026. On-site presence, five days a week, is required.

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-driven Executive Assistant to support the Chief People Officer of S&P Global Mobility. This is a critical, high-impact role that requires exceptional organizational, communication, and technical skills. As a trusted partner, they will manage complex priorities and serve as the central point of coordinationmanaging priorities, communications, and logistics with precision, discretion, and urgency. At times, will also support other executives in addition to the Chief People Officer.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Manage complex, high-volume calendars with a focus on prioritization across multiple time zones and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate end-to-end domestic and international travel, including visas, detailed itineraries, and timely expense reconciliation.
  • Schedule and manage a wide range of meetings, including global town halls, board-level sessions, and confidential engagements.
  • Oversee all meeting logisticsvenue bookings, catering, A/V setup, and technology needs.
  • Draft agendas, prepare briefing materials, capture meeting minutes, and create polished, high-quality PowerPoint presentations.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the Chief People Officer and internal/external stakeholders, often overseeing sensitive or confidential information.

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience supporting senior executives (C-Suite, Chief People Officer, or CEO-level) in a publicly traded global organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to confidently represent the Office of the Chief People Officer, both internally and externally, with clarity and professionalism.
  • Strong command of virtual collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet.
  • Highly technically savvy, with the ability to pick up new applications, tools, and systems proactively and efficiently.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience as an Executive Assistant, including 5+ years supporting a Chief People Officer, CEO, or senior C-suite executive.
  • Experience working within a large, complex global organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with navigating HRIS, procurement, and other enterprise-level systems.
  • Proven ability to navigate executive-level demands and operate effectively in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.
