GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Response Security Officer!

 

Ready to suit up as a Flex Security Guard -- – This position requires OVERNIGHT and EVENING AVAILABILITY AND HOLIDAYS, a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation, willingness to travel 60 miles to job sites, the ability to be on your feet for 8+ hours a day, handle a very fast-paced working condition, and be proficient with computers and learning new programs !

(Please note this position has NO SET SCHEDULE and NO SET JOB SITE. Full Time and Part Time positions needed. Set amount of hours not guaranteed.)

As a casual Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision.

GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Surveillance Security Officer around the SHIPPENSBURG PA area !

• FULL TIME guard must have availability on off-shift, weekends, evenings and overnights. NO HOURS ARE GUARANTEED! PART TIME officers must have open availability on weekends and Holidays.

Responsibilities of Response Security Guard

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You are well equipped to handle a fast-paced working environment.
• Extensive computer proficiency is required.
• You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
• Screening trucks at the gate before they enter the site, such as seal cutting and checking driver paperwork.
• Patrols upstairs/downstairs and inside/outside the building at different points throughout your shift.
• Paper log and extensive computer data entry. 
• Using computer truck yard management programs throughout your day.
• Answering phones and email correspondence.

Qualifications of a Response Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
