MEMCO is seeking a reliable and experienced Semi Truck/Trailer Driver in Jonesboro, GA!

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday; 6am-2:30pm

Pay: $20/hr BOE

Job Overview

MEMCO is hiring a Semi-Truck Driver to transport and organize precast concrete slabs from a manufacturing plant to the supply yard. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials while maintaining yard organization and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities :

• Safely operate a flatbed semi-truck to transport precast concrete slabs.
• Load and unload precast concrete using appropriate equipment (cranes, forklifts, etc.).
• Organize and sort materials in the supply yard for easy access and inventory tracking.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers, reporting any maintenance issues.
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, and secure load procedures.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Assist with yard maintenance and inventory management as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL preferred.
• Experience operating flatbed trucks (precast or construction materials preferred).
• Ability to secure heavy loads (familiarity with chains, straps, and tie-downs).
• Basic understanding of yard operations and inventory organization.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• ACCOUNTABLE AND COMMUNICATIVE INDIVIDUAL & A GOOD WORK ETHIC
• Clean driving record (MVR)

A pre-employment drug screen will be required for all positions.

Must provide documents establishing identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
