Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Manager with an active CPA license in New Jersey to join our team. This on-site role offers flexible scheduling to support work-life balance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in audit, tax preparation, and accounting services , along with proven leadership and client service skills.

You will be responsible for managing accounting and audit engagements while supervising a team of staff accountants to ensure accurate, high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review financial statement audits, compilations, and reviews

• Oversee audit planning, fieldwork, and engagement completion

• Supervise, mentor, and support audit staff and seniors to ensure quality and efficiency

• Provide a full range of accounting services to clients

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, businesses, estates, trusts, and non-profits

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in a U.S. public accounting firm with exposure to audit, tax, and accounting

• Proficiency in financial statement preparation and tax preparation

• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (New Jersey)

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in audit and accounting software ; tech-savvy mindset

• Proven ability to lead and mentor staff accountants
