As a Hospice Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Reporting to the Administrator or Patient Care Manager while under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assisting patients with personal hygiene and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Preparing and serving light meals, as well as assisting with feeding when necessary.
• Helping patients with ambulation and the safe use of mobility aids.
• Performing light housekeeping tasks, including changing linens and emptying trash.
• Providing basic emotional and psychological support for patients and families.
• Documenting patient care accurately and participating in staff meetings and quality improvement activities.

Requirements:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Flexibility in working with patients in various home settings.
• Six (6) months of patient care experience, particularly in hospice or home health, is preferred.
• Current driver's license and automobile insurance are required.
• Current CPR certification.
