Joe Louis Southern Kitchen Bussers and Dishwashers love early mornings, are enthusiastic about delivering excellence in hospitality and are among the best in their field. In addition, our Carryout and Retail Associates are required to do the following but not limited to:

• Job Summary:

  We need a dedicated and energetic Busser/Dishwasher to join our team at a busy brunch restaurant. You'll play a vital role in keeping our dining room running smoothly and making sure every guest has a great experience. This job involves working directly with customers, maintaining the cleanliness of the entire restaurant, and handling all dishwashing duties.

  What You'll Do:

• Help Our Guests:

  • Greet guests with a friendly smile.

  • Clear and reset tables quickly so new customers can be seated.

  • Refill water glasses and help servers deliver drinks when needed.

  • Answer guest questions and handle their requests politely.

• Keep the Restaurant Clean:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping and mopping.

  • Ensure the front of the restaurant and entrance are always tidy and welcoming.

  • Keep our restrooms spotless and fully stocked throughout your shift.

• Handle Dishwashing and Kitchen Support:

  • Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, and utensils using our commercial dishwasher.

  • Organize and store clean dishware correctly.

  • Keep your dishwashing area clean and orderly.

  • Assist the kitchen team with basic cleaning and prep tasks as requested.

• General Duties:

  • Work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

  • Complete any other tasks assigned by the manager to help the business run smoothly.

• What We're Looking For:

• Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required.

• Someone who can handle a busy environment and multitask effectively.

• A great team player with strong communication skills.

• A positive attitude and a focus on providing excellent service.

• The physical ability to stand for long periods and lift items.

• Schedule:

• You must be available on weekends, mornings, and holidays.

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time; must be able to stoop, bend, lift and carry heavy plates and/or bags and boxes.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

What we offer:

• Hourly rate of $12.48 - $14.00 per hour

• Profit Sharing after 6 months of employment

• Part time/full time
