Job Description
Maryland Armed Security Officer - IMMEDIATE START NEED
Part-Time | Temporary through end of 2025 (subject to change)
Anticipated about 16 hours per week.
Requirements:
Must have valid Maryland Armed Guard Certification (Maryland State Police) before applying.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation (no public transit).
2+ years armed security experience, age 21+, HS diploma/GED.
Pass background check, drug test, and REQUIRED Valentis firearms qualification.
Duties:
Armed patrol and access control at critical infrastructure site (Capitol Heights, MD).
Incident reporting, customer service, and assigned security tasks.
Physical:
Stand/walk long periods, lift 50 lbs, climb stairs, good vision/hearing.
